I don't even know what to do with that info.
It installed it both as a recording device but also as a playback device which I thought was really odd but if what you are referring to with a mic as an output device, maybe that's what it did. People who own it will tell you, great mic, junk mount/stand.Ģ) When I plugged this in Windows 10 it recognized and installed it. This U37 actually sounds great and I would totally record with it and not just on a throwaway track or on a podcast. I have better mics and I found a clip and swapped out to a 58 but there are a lot of people that use USB mics.
No such luck with MS, or so I’m told.ġ) PreSonus should address this. On a Mac you can sidestep the problem by merging multiple interfaces into one aggregate device (standard feature in MacOS). If your DAW allows you to pick only one audio interface at a time then you’re why it’s very very advisable to pick a usb mic which has an output too (like the Samson Meteor or PreSonus’ Revelator).
